St. George Students
learning in the classroom and beyond
In addition to a rich and varied classroom experience, St. George students participate in the life of the school outside of the classroom. Immersion in a community that values personal and academic excellence helps them to grow as individuals, as well as students. It also enriches the community, benefiting everyone. It helps students form lasting bonds with caring adults and fellow students in the community, and instills in them core St. George values of citizenship and service. The smaller-than-average size of St. George’s student population is ideal for fostering a sense of connection to the community. This pays dividends in the classroom, where students develop the confidence to try to new things, take chances, and learn new skills. Campus life includes a diverse program of special events and projects, performing arts, and athletics. These activities help build strong ties among all and prepare students for the challenges and opportunities that await them after their time at St. George.
