Math and Science Teacher: Fourth Grade

I choose to teach at St. George because of the Christian environment and high standards that are set for students and faculty. St. George provides excellent opportunities for students to learn academics and experience new friendships in a positive and safe atmosphere.

I have found that students and their families here at St. George really care about the faculty and staff. I like for them to know that I take care of my loving mother who is an amputee and has dementia. It is a top priority for me to maintain a cohesive family unit and provide her with the excellent quality of life that she deserves. I believe in staying physically fit, which is important so I that can continue to enjoy my work, both at home and school. I am passionate about animals, and I am an equestrian rider. My horse's name is Solo. I also like a number of other sports, such as swimming, biking, and tennis.

I find it easy to bring a positive and excited attitude to teaching children a highly interesting curriculum. My students come to class enthusiastic about learning and, as a teacher, I try to build on this enthusiasm by making learning as challenging and meaningful as possible. Since St. George is like a family, I try to let the children know I care about them tremendously.
